The Mercer and Fonthill Museums offer a variety of fun and interactive programs designed for Brownie Girl Scouts, Junior Girl Scouts, and Cub Scouts. Several programs also fulfill many of the requirements for badges, arrows, and achievements. Brownie and Junior Girl Scouts
Earn badges at the Mercer Museum! In the fall and in the spring, the Mercer Museum welcomes scouts to engage in Brownie Girl Scout Try-Its and Junior Girl Scout Badge Activities. These hands-on programs give scouts the opportunity to view the Mercer Museum through an exciting theme and to participate in a variety of creative activity stations. Cub Scouts
A yearly spring Cub Scout Camp Out gives scouts the unique chance to spend a night in one of Henry Mercer's towering castles! Scouts spend an evening at the Mercer Museum making creative crafts, hearing fantastic stories, and exploring the treasures of the museum. Each sleep over is planned around a new and exciting theme and includes craft supplies, evening snacks, a movie and breakfast in the morning. Groups can enrich their visit to the Mercer and Fonthill Museums by selecting from one of our tailored Cub Scout programs. All of these programs are derived in part from Cub Scout Achievements, Electives, or Activity Badges, and are enhanced by the unique collection of the Mercer and Fonthill Museums.
