Meet Henry Mercer (30-45 minute program)
An actor portraying museum founder Henry Chapman Mercer visits your group, describing the origins of his collection, the building of the museum, and the inspiration behind his tile work. “Mr. Mercer” accompanies his talk with representative artifacts, and invites questions and dialog following the performance. Fee: $150, plus mileage.

“Henry Mercer Appearances” are also available for non-profit and commercial meetings and events. Depending on the nature of the event, “Mr. Mercer” will pose for photographs, offer a brief informal talk in character, and greet your members, visitors or customers. Appearance Fees:

Non-Profit: $125 per appearance (plus mileage). Commercial: $175 per hour, up to 2 hours (plus mileage), $50 each additional hour

When promoting a personal appearance by “Mr. Mercer,” groups and institutions must incorporate the following credit language into all print and digital advertising materials: “Henry Mercer appears courtesy of the Mercer Museum and Fonthill Castle of the Bucks County Historical Society.”

A Civil War Soldier’s Life (1-hr program)
Program examines the hardships, daily routines and pastimes of a Union soldier during the Civil War through period images, touchable objects and interactive learning. Fee: $100, plus mileage.
