Mercer Apprentice Program (MAP for Teens)

DSC_3075High school students can discover Mercer Museum & Library and Fonthill Castle through the Mercer Apprentice Program (MAP).

The Mercer Apprentice Program (MAP) is designed to offer teen volunteers (ages 15-18) an opportunity to work in a museum environment while developing leadership, communication, and research skills useful for life beyond high school. Whether your interests are history, art, or youth education this program has something for you!

Members of MAP volunteer at least 3 hours a month assisting family and youth programs, participating in service activities, research projects, collections, and other events. New MAP applications are not processed between February 1 – April 1 (due to National History Day) and between July 6 – August 8 (due to camp programming). Any students submitting applications during those time periods will be emailed a confirmation and contacted at a later date for the scheduling of the MAP interview.
