Desis of Doylestown, in partnership with Mercer Museum & Fonthill Castle, would like to invite you to our first ever Eid-ul-Fitr Celebration. This is a family-friendly event, open to all to enjoy the cultural aspects of Eid such as delicious food, live music, and activities.
Eid ul-Fitr is celebrated by Muslims worldwide, as it marks the end of the month-long dawn-to-sunset fasting of Ramadan. Muslims fast to strengthen one’s moral character, develop empathy with those less fortunate than oneself, practice self-control, and to gain greater consciousness with God.
