Ghouls, goblins and Grover!
Celebrate Halloween by taking a tour in the shadows of Fonthill Castle to learn about Henry Mercer’s love of detective and Gothic literature. Stops on the tour include the Morning Room, the Basement “Crypt,” to see how Mercer experimented with architectural design, and the Terrace Room, Mercer’s bedroom in his final years. After the tour, enjoy a dramatic performance of Edgar Allan Poe’s short story, “The Tell-Tale Heart,” by Philadelphia TV & radio personality, Grover Silcox. Win prizes when you play “The Wheel of Suffering,” if you dare! Register for the event by calling 215-348-9461.
