Christian Goodwillie, curator of the traveling exhibit, Gather Up the Fragments: The Andrews Shaker Collection, shares his extensive knowledge of both the Shakers and the collection formed by Faith and Edward Deming Andrews. In this illustrated lecture, Goodwillie highlights the triumphs and controversies that attended the Andrews’ earnest, and sometimes aggressive, efforts to preserve Shaker culture on the broadest possible scale.  Goodwillie, formerly Curator of Collections at Hancock Shaker Village, is currently Director/Curator of Special Collections at Hamilton College in Clinton, New York.  Included with museum admission.
