In our special “Twilight Tales” series, local storytellers and spoken word artists perform in the dramatic atmosphere of the Mercer Museum’s Central Court. Performances feature both traditional and original material, linked to the museum’s history and collections.
Storyteller and living history portrayer, Susannah Brody presents an evening of tales drawn from the Revolutionary War Era in Bucks County. Entertaining and lively, her stories bring to life some of the real people and events that filled this difficult time in our county’s – and nation’s – history. Featured are tales of the Doan Gang, Durham Furnace, Washington’s Crossing, and a strange and mysterious burial. The program is appropriate for ages 8 and up.
