The Mercer Museum & Fonthill Castle and the ActorsNET of Bucks County present two nights of a special modern adaptation of Shakespeare’s “Love’s Labour’s Lost”.
This classic Shakespearean comedy tells the story of a young king and his gentlemen who make a pledge to isolate themselves from the distractions and trivialities of love but find their oaths difficult to keep when a lovely young princess and her ladies arrive for a state visit. Miscommunication and hilarity ensues as this cascade of adventure gives way to a forest chase, lovers lost and found, and an ending full of hope for true love!
This special production of a comedy written by the most famous playwright in the English language is staged in the spectacular outdoor setting of Fonthill Castle.
