2020 Annual Fund: The Power of Possibility

Throughout this tough year, the power of possibility was at the center of all we accomplished with the help of our community.

People united to help one another. Museum enthusiasts supported our work and mission—even when it was financially challenging to do so. With the community by our side, we retained our staff—full and part-time—and kept them working on many internal projects. We implemented virtual programs to meet the public need. We readied the castles following COVID 19 guidelines, and safely re-opened both sites to welcome visitors once again.

The community’s generosity remains essential and will continue to make an incredible difference for the Mercer Museum and Fonthill Castle. By donating to our year-end Annual Fund Campaign, your gift will help sustain our progressive momentum focused on exciting plans for the year ahead.

• At the Mercer Museum, we will host two exhibitions. One will showcase tools of measurement, and feature an extraordinary private collection never before presented to the public. The second will spotlight hidden objects and untold stories from the Bucks County Historical Society’s collections.
• Across the Mercer Mile at Fonthill Castle, our team is preparing year-round programs, including captivating evening tours, woodland walks, and the potential to once again host the popular Old Fashioned Fourth of July Celebration.
• Throughout the organization, virtual programs will be expanded to include more content from our Research Library, and classroom offerings to aid local school teachers.

Please support our Annual Fund. Your donation has tremendous power to make all things possible.
