National History Day cannot be successful without the contributions of volunteer judges.
Volunteer judges are instrumental in providing feedback for student projects and helping students grow as researchers and budding historians.
Judges read papers, review websites, watch documentaries and performances, and evaluate digital exhibits. The commitment to serve as a judge consists of the following:
- One virtual judge training on Tuesday, February 22, 2022 from 6:30 -7:30 p.m.
- Evaluating 5-7 student projects on your own time.
- One two-hour virtual judging session sometime in the evening between Monday, February 28 and Monday, March 14 (exact category dates TBD).
Register to be a judge today and make a difference to students who have spent months working on their National History Day research projects.
