The warmth and heart of the people known as Shakers could also be found in their kitchens. In this program, set in the museum’s log house, Susan McLellan Plaisted of Heart to Hearth Cookery prepares original Shaker receipts (recipes) and explains Shaker views on food, meal preparation, kitchens, dining and more.
