A century ago, in 1916, the extraordinary concrete structure known as the Mercer Museum first opened its doors to the public. Commemorate this historic event with us all year long as we celebrate with special events at the museum. Storytelling Series
Spoken word artists perform in the dramatic atmosphere of the museum’s original Central Court. The three featured programs are:

Henry Mercer, the Lenape Stone, and First Peoples of the Delaware Valley

Photography Exhibit: The Mercer Museum in Images: The Early Years
On view throughout the year, this exhibit show images depicting the construction of the museum and the appearance of its earliest exhibits. In the museum’s Mercer Gallery.
