    Henry Chapman Mercer Society ($10,000 and above) - Rarely does one person shine in as many fields as Henry C. Mercer. His legacy includes architecture (Mercer Museum, Fonthill, the Moravian Pottery and Tile Works), art, history, archaeology, and anthropology.

    Elizabeth Chapman Lawrence Benefactors ($5,000 - $9,999) - Elizabeth Chapman Lawrence underwrote her nephew Henry’s education as well as his travels in Europe. Upon her death in 1905, part of the Lawrence estate passed to Henry Mercer allowing him to construct his home, Fonthill.

    William Watts Hart Davis Patrons ($2,500 - $4,999) - William Watts Hart Davis was the founding president of the Bucks County Historical Society in 1880. W.W.H. Davis paved the way for the Mercer Museum. His leadership in organizing the BCHS, purchasing land and constructing the Elkins Building provided the means for Henry Mercer to first exhibit his collection of early American tools.

    Horace Michener Mann Circle ($1,000 - $2,499) - Horace Michener Mann was the first curator of the Mercer Museum. Horace Mann worked first with Henry Mercer to open the Museum’s doors and then to preserve this unique collection and share it with new audiences.

    Warren S. Ely Partners ($500 - $999) - Warren S. Ely was the first Librarian of the Bucks County Historical Society. A major research center, the Library is devoted to the collection and preservation of historic documents and materials to be used for genealogical and scholarly research.

    Laura & Frank Swain Guardians ($100 - $499) - Upon his death in 1930, Henry Mercer left Fonthill in trust as a museum. He gave life rights to Fonthill to his housekeeper and her husband, Laura and Frank Swain. In accordance with Mercer’s Will, Mrs. Swain resided in the house and conducted occasional tours until her death in 1975.

    Rollo & Lucy Friends (Under $100) - Rollo and Lucy were significant in the history of Henry Mercer’s buildings. Rollo, one of Henry Mercer’s favorite dogs, left his footprints in each castle. Lucy, the work horse, is memorialized in the weathervane that soars over Fonthill.
