Fonthill Castle Hours

Monday – Saturday: 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (Last tour at 3:30 p.m.)
Sundays:  Noon – 5:00 p.m. (Last tour at 3:30 p.m.)

(Closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s Day)
(Last tour at 2:15 p.m. on Christmas Eve)

Fonthill Castle offers one-hour guided tours through a portion of Henry Mercer’s historic home.

First tours begin:
Monday – Friday: 11:00 a.m.
Saturday: 10:30 am
Sunday: Noon

Mercer Experience Ticket (Admission to both Fonthill Castle & Mercer Museum) Adult $26, Youth $15

Credit cards are accepted for payment at both the Mercer Museum and Fonthill castle.

Active Military
Year-round free admission for active-duty military personnel and their families.


Fonthill Castle has very limited accessibility. Only three rooms on the first floor can be accessed by wheelchair. However, a special ground floor tour may be arranged if reservations are made ahead of time.

Unaccompanied Children

Children under the age of 13 must be accompanied by an adult (18 years or older). Teenagers 13-17 may visit without an adult but are not permitted to surpervise children 12 and younger.
